Lost or damaged parcel - what to do?

Today we would like to talk about the unlikely event of lost or damaged items. Of course nobody wishes for it to happen, however time to time a parcel can get lost in the process so we want to talk about it and guide you what to do if this happens to you. 

Here in Motoshow Plates, we always aim very hard to proceed your order as fast as we can so it is also frustrating for us if we find out that the product we worked on so hard hasn't been delivered on time or in the worst case scenario not at all. If your item hasn't reached you within a reasonable amount of time, please contact us. The reasonable amount of time can be questionable, however if you check your invoice it will always tell you what postage have you paid for and how many working days it should take. 

An example can be a Royal Mail 1st class postage which can take 1 - 3 working days. Please don't panic if you won't receive your item within this time as sometimes it takes a bit longer. Although, very often you can receive the parcel the next day. So it varies. Anyway, let's say you have waited for longer than 3 working days and the parcel hasn't arrive. Now it's the time to get in touch with us. We will check the progress with the Royal Mail and we will also give you a tracking number to track and trace your item. In the unlikely event of the parcel being lost we have to allow 15 working days to elapse before Royal Mail considers an item lost, after that time we can claim against Royal Mail and issue you a new set of plates. Royal Mail allows 15 working days to allow enough time for the plates to be returned to us in the event of delivery problems.


If you will receive your parcel, however the content will be somehow damaged, please take a picture of the damaged item and email it to us as soon as possible to We will be happy to give you a new replacement without delay if the return consequences either from an fault made by us or from a damaged or defective item.
